Da Vinci Dv 2098 Manual Transfer
I agree with you guys, to RTFM. But, I can tell you this was good for me, as a quick search on google brought up this post and the answer, which was much quicker than having to scour the manual. So manuals are great, but for a quick answer of something I wasn't 100% sure on (I've been using resolve for years but never needed to transfer to another computer until today). So as much as it is lame to ask the question that is answered in the manual, this FORUM itself is a great resource as the manual answers doesn't show up on google search. Thanks for the quick answer, it saved me a bunch of time. I have to say that I've found using Ctrl F to search the manual for a keyword related to what I'm looking for has been very helpful many times for me.+1I can search the manual way faster than Google!

I also stumble across other useful info while I'm searching.Back in the days of tape I used to do a fast skim/read through of ALL the manuals for the editing system so I could remember roughly where to look next time I needed to refer to it.RTFM is my first advice to students. The students that read manuals ask a lot fewer really basic questions and generally deliver better looking projects. THAT is the desired outcome most people want.
