Koihime Musou Crack Hongfire Forums
That was a very loaded question. So long as it was an item, that ROB would provide it to me. My thoughts immediately turned to the pragmatic. What would have been the most useful thing to have if I was going to get dropped into some far off world probably unlike my own? My mind raced. I needed versatility more than anything, something that would not likely break or lost or stolen and would be useful in almost any situation. Eventually, my choices were down to the Gates of Babylon, Akemi Homura's Shield, and Kamen Rider Decade's Decadriver.
I thought about it a bit harder and decided that the first two would be really hard to use in most situations since I was never trained to wield anything they can dispense nor were they made for my use. A rider belt on the other hand.. I groaned once I realized that I was more or less conscious and on the ground again. A familiar ticklish itch at the back of my neck told me that I was lying down on grass.or some really convincing turf.
Thankfully, the feeling I was getting from the rest of my body told me that I was also wearing clothes. I opened my eyes and saw that I was looking up at some leaves and a clear blue sky.
Koihime Musou Anime
First impressions indicate that I wasn't in a post-apocalyptic world, so that's nice. I sat up and found that I was at the edge of a small lake in the woods. How oddly peaceful and nondescript. I stood up and saw my current attire.. As far as starting equipment went, I was actually pretty happy with what was provided to me. I then noticed that I didn't have the Decadriver on me. I looked around and it wasn't on the ground and I certainly wasn't wearing it.
I then remembered that it just sort of just appears sometimes whenever Tsukasa has to transform. I checked to see if wishing for it really hard would make it appear. Strangely enough, it did, right there in my right hand where it first materialized. I guessed that I had to manually put it on if I had to transform then. I didn't really complain since the thing pretty much allowed me to transform into Decade anyway.
That's something you don't experience every day. It almost made up for the inevitable hurt I was going to experience while I was here. The now confirmed sentient bush suddenly complained with a voice of a little girl. I was very confused by that development.
I kept my distance with the Decadriver in my hand just in case the loli-voiced bush decided to turn hostile at me. Normally, this would be the time when a protagonist would either tell the bush to identify itself or to warn it to stay away to prevent violence.
I did neither. Both options were silly and would have more than likely just made the angry bush attack me. I simply stood my ground with my stance low, ready to either put on the Decadriver and fight or to run like fuck in a direction away from the hostile flora.. She was wearing a two piece dress that really shouldn't be worn by a girl her age. Her top was a white and pink blouse with extra long gold trimmed sleeves that partially covered her hands. The blouse itself was cut short so one had a very clear view of her midriff.
Her skirt was a short affair that had the same color scheme as her top and looked like it was designed after a flower. It was also short, so much so that any and all movement promised a panty shot at any given opportunity.
Topping off the ensemble was a pair of thigh high white stockings and brown shoes.. Thankfully, the powers that be decided to throw me another bone by way of a scream that came from a nearby direction. I followed source of the scream and saw Sonshoukou on her backside and slowly backing away from a trio of bandits. I immediately recognized those funny looking bandits as recurring fodder in the anime that the cast kicked around on occasion for various reasons. Sort of like the poor man's Team Rocket of the show. That also must have meant that someone was supposed to pop in to save the little tiger at the most opportune moment.
When neither her sisters nor anyone else from the Go faction appeared in a Big Damn Heroes moment, I realized that I might very well be the person I was referring to.. My mind sort of stalled when I realized what that statement really meant. One item meant one item. Just one thing. The ROB gave me the Decadriver but it did not include the Ride Booker with it. When I thought about it even more, the same could have been said about my other choices as well.
If I had chosen the Gate of Babylon, I probably would have gotten and empty one without anything inside. If I had asked for Homura's Shield then that was exactly what I would have gotten, just a small shield without any of the hardware Homura had been able to stockpile.. 'Normally, I would certainly agree with you. However, if you wouldn't mind, I would like to make sure of a few things before I grovel before you and beg for your forgiveness for my insolence. Would that be acceptable?' I said while gesturing to them with my right hand with a nod and a smile.
The three of them looked at me oddly before turning to each other and nodding back to me. I gulped and clasped my hands together behind me again to stop them from shaking.
I was mostly just doing my best to bullshit my way through this until help shows up or I managed to convince the bandits to back off and give up. Obviously, I wasn't really liking my chances.. 'So, let me get this straight. You kidnap the youngest sister of the Son family for the sake of getting some money from her family. However, you are still in well within their territory and have not made any effort to get out.
You are in the tiger's lair with only three men while her family, friends, and their soldiers are probably on the warpath and sweeping across the countryside as we speak looking for her.' I explained to them slowly while making sure to emphasize the important bits. The loss of color in their complexions as I went on confirmed pretty much what I had originally expected.. 'I understand. In that case.' I said with a nod before trailing off and turning my back on them.
I looked right at Sonshoukou's eyes and considered my options. Walk Away or Fight? The worried and pleading look that the little tiger was giving me answered that question for me. I couldn't just walk away from this now. Naturally, I couldn't fight three other grown men who probably have experience in killing soldiers and other bandits. Again, joke characters or not, these guys are still alive and doing their profession for a reason.
With that in mind, went through the revised list of choices I had in my head.. Where did you learn how to run?! You should treat a daughter of the Sun family with more delicacy, you know! You're awful at it!' Cheeky little kid.
I was a bit surprised that she could pronounce the word 'delicacy' without tripping up though. Sonshoukou then proceeded to stand up and straighten up her clothes and brush off some dirt and leaves. I stood up as well and saw that we were in some sort of dirt road. I took several deep breaths to calm myself down.
At the very least, we should be able to walk to a town or something so long as we don't-. There, riding towards us with the fury of tigers were soldiers of the Go faction. Most prominent were the ones at the head of the formation. The most obvious ones there were Sonshoukou's older sisters. Sonsaku already had her sword out and looked like she was ready and willing to bite someone's head off.
The middle sister, Sonken also looked angry but not as much as the Little Conqueror. I also arbitrarily noted that she still had long hair. As expected, Shuuyu was riding at Sonsaku's with her trademark cold and calculating expression. Sonshoukou's unofficial guardian Ryomou was riding a bit behind the two sisters with Sonken's bodyguard Kannei to one side and the cat loving warrior Shuutai to her other side.
However, the thing that surprised me the most was the ones in the very front of the formation.. Or rather, I notice, thought about the post, then did some checking, a bit more thinking, and then I finally realized. At first, I was confused. It's obviously Sun Jian speaking, so why is she calling herself Sonken?
Then I tried looking things up to find the right pronunciation for her name in Japanese. After a bit of time, I found that her name was indeed pronounced Sonken, same as her middle daughter. Huh, who knew.
Still, it did bring a relevant point. The fact that two character (who are both likely to be pretty central to the plot) share the same name may have ramifications in your writing later on. Generally, one would refer to people using their names (Sonsaku, Sonken, etc) unless they allow you to use their personal/real names (Sheren, Renfa, etc).
In that case, unless either or both of the mother/daughter duo gives you their personal names and allows you to address them by such (something not all that easily done), you're going to have to address both of them as Sonken, which could easily get confusing. So, yeah. You may want to start thinking about how to handle it.
You'll might need to refer to them by the Chinese version of their name very often in you internal monologues and in the framing, or you'll have to find a way for those two to give you their personal names fairly quickly. The first might work, although it might get repetitive and wear on the readers. The second might stretch the suspension of disbelief, depending on how you do it, seeing as how in the setting, one usually does not casually give out their personal names to strangers. Given that you kind of did save their daughter/sister in this first scene. Plus, seeing as howFinal question: The setting is Shin Koihime Musou, but as far as I know the game has not been translated yet. Do you know enough Japanese and have played through the game (or at least the Go route)? Or did you find enough information about it somewhere else?
Or are you going to be going completely off the rails and making up your own AU based on Koihime Musou (either the anime or game)?P.S. You mentioned modeling Sun Jian after a danbooru pic? Can you post the (partial?) link? Protagonist falls into bizarro-land, somehow becomes mistaken for a divinely-ordained savior, kind of loosely follow the earlier bits of the Sanguo Yanyi, while engaging in standard harem shenanigans. I forget the exact details of the routes.
But I think there is an ending where Sousou stops her campaign of expansion because she is not destined to conquer the land, the standard bit about Sonken struggling to find confidence after the death of Sonsaku, and Ryuubi being completely and utterly useless. The first one had an even blander plot, while the third is a fandisk containing more standard harem shenanigans. Man, your consideration of items. As the Gates of Babylon are not as much an item as they are a concept, I assume you meant the key Gil uses to actually access his treasury.
Which would at least gotten you a sword, even if you couldn't actually use it because activation requires prana.Possibly for similar reasons, Homu-homu's shield would have at least been useful as just that. A shield.Even without the ridiculously broken potential of actual hammerspace access, they would have been more useful than what amounts to a fancy belt buckle.Still, I'm disappointed you didn't at least consider an Intelligent Device as a possiblity,. Children, repeat after me - when someone asks you for 'one item' you say 'Guyver Unit'. Well, an Intelligent Device won't be of much help if he didn't actually have magic to use it with.On the most useful item out of the ones picked out, I'd go with Homura's shield personally. Not sure if you can use it, but if you can, even without her arsenal of weaponry, time stop is still pretty ridiculous.Still, I think the whole point of it was to have the '1 item' rendered useless. It'd be boring if the SI actually chose something that could let him break the setting, after all.Still.
Just for fun, I'll make a list of 'one item' that I might choose.1. Horai Elixir (Touhou)2. The Stone of Resurrection (Harry Potter)3. A Devil Fruit of some kind (need to think of the proper one though, probably one of the logia though) (One Piece)4.
The Noose of Judas (Dresden Files)5. Jack Sparrow's Compass (Pirates of the Caribbean)6. Neuralyzer (Men in Black)7.
Any of a number of magical items/artifacts from DnD (too many to name, most of them good)8. Any number of artifacts from Magic the GatheringThey're all pretty great, although they all have some drawback or possible interpretations that might make them less useful:1. True immortality's great and all, but the consequences are a bit long term for my tastes.2. Very good information gathering tool, although whether a non-wizard would be able to use them, and whether a shade summoned could/would talk to you, and whether you'd be able to understand them if they do.3. Great, except who knows if you'll be able to figure out how to use the new powers.
Plus, if you're dropped into an underwater setting, you're kind of screwed4. Invincibility instead of immortality, although it's not like you'll be any stronger, so someone could just restrain you and take it off. Or they might choke you with it.5. Another great support tool, although can you actually focus enough to get a 'greatest desire' down for it to work?6.
Again, memory erasure is a good supporting tool. However, it is limited, and it may need recharges to work after a time.7. Yeah, this is good.
However, most magical items/artifacts need to be activated, and we might not know how to. Same with a number of others that require command words, which is bad if we don't know them. In the end, the only safe options are ones with passive effects, and that limits things (plus, in general, the ones with passive effects aren't quite as versatile or good as the ones with activated abilities.)8. See number 7. Would we know how to use most of them?Anyone have other ideas? Yeah, the whole 'One Item' thing was meant to be a complete dud.
It was just there to show that, no matter how nice an ROB seems to be, they will still dick you over in some way. If we were going to be completely practical about it, I would have chosen either a crowbar or a really good swiss army knife.
Setting Breaking items are no good to you if you don't have what it takes to properly wield and, more importantly, control them. Then again, the time when I made my choice wasn't really a situation wherein 'basic common sense' was in play. I was in the verge of a mental breakdown by then and was just barely holding it back at that point. Also, as far as what Sun Jian would look in this setting, I show you this gem.
Heartcatch Precure featuring Kougai and Sonken Wentai. As far as how I'll handle the plotline, it will mostly be a mix of the Shows and the Games but from the Wu perspective instead of Shu. Obviously, first priority is to stay alive. Secondary objectives are finding out ways to prevent the deaths of Sonken Wentai and Sonsaku. Neither is especially easy. As for the Harem aspect, Go was the only faction in Shin that ended with Babies Everywhere for Kazuto since the ladies of Go were apparently cool with sharing him.
In this story, not really sure if I want to go that route. Haven't really hammered down the story map for this yet past the first impressions with the women of Go after we head back to their main city. Who knows what kind of story this ends up as considering it started as a simple random idea to get me back into writing. Like make OCs for the officers that never made the cut for Koihime's genderbending? Aside from Sun Jian, likely not.
The cast of Shin is huge enough as it is. If I add more I'd be diving into Dynasty Warriors character numbers. Amusingly, most of what I know about the Three Kingdoms Era is thanks to Koei. Both Dynasty Warriors and Romance of the Three Kingdoms games actually.
That said, this will make this story about as historically accurate as Koihime and Dynasty Warriors anyway. Considering the setting, this isn't really a story you need to take too seriously in the first place.I'll pen up the next part once I'm done with the update for Be Careful What You Wish For, which I promised to myself will be finished before the end of the world on the 21st. Protagonist falls into bizarro-land, somehow becomes mistaken for a divinely-ordained savior, kind of loosely follow the earlier bits of the Sanguo Yanyi, while engaging in standard harem shenanigans. I forget the exact details of the routes. The first one had an even blander plot, while the third is a fandisk containing more standard harem shenanigans. I would say the All-Ages PS2 and PSP versions of KM and SKM followed more standard harem shenanigans that the PC stuff (but there were some interesting changes here and there, such as in the PS2 KM Sei, Sui and Shion had endings added to the game). From what I recall from what I saw of the three routes of SKM.
Kazuto is indeed regarded as the Messenger of Heaven in all three (after he 'proves' himself unknowingly), but the three factions make use of him differently. Shoku, like the original, sets him up as their Lord.
In the Gi route, Kazuto proves himself by saying things that only Karin/Sousou knows during a friendly interrogation (and she decides to make use of him and his future knowledge). Go I barely got to see the setup, but from what I understood, he proved himself (again unknowingly) and spooked Sheren/Sonsaku, Meirin/Shuuyu and Sai/Kougai with his cell phone (and he took a picture of him). Sheren decided, from what I recall, that he was more or less going to be used as breeding stock, so they too may have the blood of heaven with him.The fandisk, Moeshouden, takes place after the Shoku Route, and the endings for PSP versions of Shoku could very well take place after Moeshouden as the PSP Go ending could take place before the PC version easily.
I do know that Japanese fanfics have/had done this. One where Kazuto landed in the anime version near Sui's home village at one point got to meet her mother's friends, and to his shock he recognized their names also but was surprised that they were still male as in the stories.I did chuckle at the Gates of Babylon bit. Should have had a clause that your usage of the word 'mongrels' and how much contempt you use it with allows access and usage.Speaking of which, there was a Japanese FSN/SKM fic which Gilgamesh was summoned as Archer in that era, and interestingly enough, the Saber was later found out to be the historical Liu Bei (and male, at that) that had a Reality Marble. The whole 'person from the future being considered a god' trope invokes feelings in me that are best described as being black and bilious. It's absurd but salvageable, even though most modern examples that I've seen tend to have the protgaonist demonstrate zero useful skills, never attempt to learn, and coast along on nothing. I don't believe that will happen in this fic, but if it turns out well, I'm of the belief that it'll be despite the source material rather than because of it.Granted, I'm biased because I'm utterly soured on the concept of Sanguo adaptations and retellings as a whole because most of them fail to do much more than skim the surface before spitting it out poorly on to the page.
Koihime Musou Vndb
Eunuchs are cruel and corrupt, without ever exploring the reasons that the emperors trusted them; attributing the division of the empire to ambitious men without mentioning that the Han's grip had been slipping for generations; failing to take into account the genuine political differences of the various rulers; and so on and so forth.I hope that this fic will delve into the background of the setting, at least a little bit for verisimilitude if nothing else.
